GENERAL FUNCTION: Manages subcontractor performance for various vessels during the build cycle. The position will have liaison responsibilities with Subcontract Administrators/Managers, Production, Engineering, PMO, Central Planning, and the subcontractors to ensure alignment and integration for successful vessel build. This key position will report directly to the Subcontract Program Manager.

- Ensure Supplier Performance Metrics and Measurements are in-place to successfully manage Subcontractor Performance
- Hands-on involvement to ensure the Subcontractors are performing to contract requirements on an on-going basis; this includes timely delivery performance of VFI, Hardware, and Installation of Hardware aligned with the Program and Build Plans.
- Problem resolution with the Subcontractors, including internal organizations
- Lead the development and implementation of accurate subcontractor performance reporting methodologies. Weekly reports anticipated
- Over-see and ensure alignment with EV Lite company activities for Supply Chain Management
- Function as a Program Manager relative to selected Subcontractors/Subcontract Components
- Other duties as may be assigned by the VP of Supply Chain Management
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Engineering background preferred
- Extensive knowledge of Program Management, Project Management, and Subcontract Management
- Ability to set up and track subcontractor performance
- Extensive experience in the use of Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to ensure cross-functional internal integration and alignment with subcontractors
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with Halter Marine functions, subcontractors and management.
- Strong multitasking, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE & TRAINING: Minimum of five (5) years' experience in Program Management, Project Management, Subcontract Management or any equivalent combination of experience and training which results in the required knowledge, skills and abilities. A Bachelor's Degree in an applicable discipline is preferred. Experience in US Naval Shipbuilding is preferred. Must be a U.S. Citizen
